National Convention News

From the PPS President and 2020 Convention Director of the Philippine Physics Society:
We regret that on account of recent developments in the locale of the 2020 PPSConvention venue and elsewhere, as carefully analyzed by the Convention Director andconvention committees and the National PPS Office and suggested by some delegations and incompliance with some local and national government directives and issuances, the 42nd AnnualNational Physics Seminar-Convention is postponed to a date we will announce at least threemonths before the rescheduled date of the convention. We are thinking that if the COVID-19threat dies out by June 30, 2020 then we can have October 21 - 24, 2020 as tentative rescheduleddates of the convention. We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause. Weare happy to cooperate with the government and the citizenry in stamping out the COVID-19threat. Please pass this information to others to whom it may concern. Thank you very much foryour understanding and support.
